Welcome to the Province of Salzburg and the Pinzgau region. The small village of Bucheben is located in the 30-km, sunny Rauris valley. We are a Dutch family who settled down in this fantastic environment in 2005. Our cosy apartments are nestled in the Hohe Tauern National Park at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level at the foot of the 3105 m Sonnblick. The slightly unusual name "Goldgrube" (Goldmine) dates back to the 50's, when the last professional gold washer still lived here. Gold washing championships still take place in the region today.
