We where drop off at the Hellfire Pass Museum. This museum and the memorial is dedicated to the Allied prisoners of war and Asian labourers who suffered and died at Hellfire Pass and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region during the Second World War.

The memorial consist of a sparkling clean museum where you have take your shoes off before entering. The second part is a 4 kilometer trail mainly on the railway. On the ancient line you can find the actual memorial.

The Erawan Waterfall are part of the Erawan National Park.

The waterfall is divided in 7 steps, where the 7th step is the best. It will easily take you more than one hour just to walk up - without taking photos or swimming. So bring along enough time, bathing togs and a photo camera.

The best would be to have the whole day there and to picnic nearby the waterfalls.... Read more
